Breathing apparatus PTS "Avia"PTS "Avia" is a compressed air breathing apparatus for fire services of civil avaition. It is intended to protect breathing and sight human organs from harmful toxic or smoked up ambient atmosphere unsuitable for breathing during the firefighting and rescue activities in aircrafts and industrial objects of civil aviation within the temperature range from minus 40oC to +60oC.

PTS "Avia" represents the respiratory device with compressed air cylinder with working pressure 29,4MPa (300 bar) and positive pressure under facepiece. The positive pressure under facepiece provides an additional protection in highly toxic environments. PTS "Avia" does not change the technical parameters after staying in the environment with ambient temperature +200oC during 60 seconds and resists to open flame exposure (+800oC) during 5 seconds.

The main features of PTS "Avia":
• orthopaedically designed backplate made of lightweight carbon fibre composite material with harness with wide shoulder and waist padding providing optimal load carrying characteristics;
• universal cylinder strap with cam-lock mechanism for all types of compressed air cylinders;
• high performance balanced first stage reducer (flow up to 1000 l/min);
• high performance automatic lung demand valve provides positive pressure under facepiece;
• warning whistle unit leads over the shoulders close to the ear;
• the "Panorama Nova" fullface mask made of EPDM with shock-resistant polycarbonate visor.
